I Feel Like Crepe

a
Celeste: Strawberry, Banana, Nutella (+$2.50 for ice cream - quite a rip off, at least we got $2 off dessert crepe with purchase of savory)
This crepe was so soft and warm. A lot of nutella.

Claude: Eggs, Prosciutto, Spinach, Harvati, Feta
Delicious at first bite - warm, gooey, savory. I enjoyed the filling, but too many ingredients takes away from the taste of the crepe itself, and it's a bit too much halfway through. I didn't like the crisp edges and after I finished all the filling, the crepe itself was actually quite salty. Sweet > Savory
Used $10 for $20 value (paid additional $6) It was so troublesome getting downtown with the TTC construction. At least the crepes were good.

Thai Basil

Tried a new restaurant with my mom for lunch today. Ordered a lunch combo ($7.95) that came with soup and spring roll to start.

Tom Yum Vegetable Soup, Spring Roll: Very spicy and sour.

Green Curry Chicken with eggplant, peppers, lime leaves and coconut milk. Very flavorful and not too spicy (green is supposed to be the spiciest curry), slightly sweet. Broke my no-rice diet again :( Creative presentation with the star shape. Mom ordered Basil Eggplant & Minced Beef which was a tad oily.

We ordered Mango Sticky Rice for dessert.

Total bill came to $25~ + tax & gratuities.

Ambiance: Deep yellow/ochre walls with red fabric panel accents, pale green upholstered seats, Buddha art pieces. Very Thai feel.
Service: Good
Variety: Large selection of lunch menu items at reasonable prices. Good choice for Authentic Thai food.

Cho Sun Ok

Gamjatang + White/Purple Rice

Very 清. There seems to be two versions of Pork Bone Soup depending on restaurant: black pepper base and spicy red kimchi base?
